Brennon's Vision for China Spring ISD
Thank you for allowing me to share my goals and visions for China Spring ISD with you.

First and foremost, you can rest assured that I have no personal agenda of any kind, other than pursuing excellence for the children of our district.

Secondly, as a 1989 graduate of China Spring High School, I cannot adequately express the impact that this school and this community have made on my life. My motivation to run for this office is based on my love for China Spring ISD, and my desire that it continue to make the same positive impact on the lives of the children of our community that it made on me.

That being said, allow me to share my specific goals and visions for my first term as School Board Trustee:
  1. Work to bring about the completion of the new Intermediate School and other aspects of last year's bond election. - Having served on numerous church committees for the procurement and construction of real property and capital expenditures, I have the experience necessary to complete these types of projects as a member of a team.

  2. Work for the continued development and equality of extra-curricular activities, while always improving our academic excellence. - While educational concerns are paramount for our district, I firmly believe that extra-curricular activities serve just as important a role by helping to mold and develop young men and women of character and giving them skills that will be used throughout their lifetime.

  3. Work for the implementation and sustained existence of an active Agricultural Education program. - The China Spring community has a rich agricultural heritage, and we must ensure that this legacy continues for the next generation.

I believe that I bring vision, leadership and a unique perspective to the district administration process. My wife, Kim, is a 17-year veteran elementary educator. Having been a professional in both the Education and Business arenas, I understand what it takes to run a business, but also understand the special aspects of the educational process and the many challenges our teachers and students face every day.

Thanks again for your consideration, and I hope that I can count on your vote on May 10!
